Summer Suggestions
- Be sure to shut off water to the unit
- Open cold water tap in sink. (in case water gets turned on)
- Cover commodes with saran wrap.
- Turn off water heaters.
- Turn off refrigerator and leave the door open.
- Secure windows. Shutter if possible.
- Remove outside furniture.
- Secure anything that is left outside.
- Leave a spare key with someone who stays through the Summer.
- Set air conditioner to desired temp.
- Humidistat if you have one.
- Replace thermostat battery.
- Put telephone and other services on vacation hold
